neoNights are a new initiative for neoLeader in 2018, with the aim to equip, empower and inspire current and future young leaders in their work, study or ministry leadership.
neoNights will be hosted by churches in the North, South and West regions of Brisbane and in Toowoomba across May and June. These nights will run as workshops where you can listen, discuss and ask questions from experienced leaders. These nights are also a great opportunity to develop relationships with other young adults and churches in these regions.
Equipping young leaders to influence culture
At each neoNight, the workshop will be looking at how we follow Christ in a post-Christendom context. In order to influence the culture that we live in, we first need to understand the culture. We need new words and new ways to reach our culture.
Picture a diverse group of leaders seeking wisdom to squarely face one question: How do we faithfully bridge the divide between church and culture?
Dave Benson is a former high school teacher, youth worker and pastor who currently lectures at Malyon College in the areas of evangelism, apologetics, worldview, faith-work integration and practical theology. Dave will be running the input for these neoNight workshops.
Dave is passionate about pluralistic dialogue and the public expression of Christian faith in a post-Christendom context. Dave is also passionate about seeing young leaders equipped to influence the world for the sake of the Gospel and sits on the neoLeader Board.
